Daniele De Rossi: "I è been given a second career at Roma"

These are the words to the DAZN microphones of Daniele De Rossi, Roma’s new coach, after the Giallorossi’s 2-1 victory at the’Olimpico over Verona.

"sì, è it was a good result. È it was pleasant to return to the Olimpico. There'è always great affection, but now I have a different guise. On the one hand there was great excitement, on the other hand great tension because there's a job to be done. At the end I felt to thank the fans who have always called me. I can&#39t be happier. I went around the field, but I won&#e always do it eh…"

"It was important to have dominance of the ball, but it has to be done with speed; because now all the teams are prepared and if you do it slow they will kill you. I really liked the first half today, but it gets tough if you don’t do it afterwards. If we had played better we would have all gone away happier. And maybe with a better second half there wouldn’t have even been a few whistles at the end".

“Pellegrini è one of the most important players, he must find continuityà in the game and touch many balls. È the captain, he plays the same role as me, and è it is right that as Romans we are put in front of responsibilities. It happens like that; and he takes it on without any problem, I found him very matured and during the week he è behaved like a true leader. I am happy with him. I è been given a second career at Roma, we will see how long it will last; but now but I have to enjoy them and give everything".
