MotoGp, Jorge Martin reveals a fear ahead of Jerez
Jorge Martin worried
On the eve of the fourth weekend of the MotoGP season, staged in Jerez de la Frontera in Spain, Jorge Martin admitted during the press conference dedicated to the riders, that he feared that the tires can not handle the power discharged on the asphalt by his Ducati evenly and effectively.
The main fear of the current leader of the standings in MotoGp è the so-called 'chattering', the annoying jumping due precisely to load problems on the tires: "We must understand well how to approach the two races, Sprint and Grand Prix – said the rider of the Pramac Racing team – The Ducati è a very powerful bike but I can not push it 100% in the race, to avoid problems I must be careful with the management of the tires".
Martin's goal è however, try to return to the podium in a Gp after the fourth place in Austin: "The Sunday race in Texas è was complicated – said the centaur class 1998, here I want to return to the podium, although on this track I managed only once, at the time of Moto2".
Martin has started the championship with excellent results, so much so that after three race weekends he is the only one in MotoGp to have always finished (we speak of Saturday Sprint and Sunday Gp) among the top four. The 2023 vice world champion leads the standings with 80 points, 21 more than Enea Bastianini (second) and 30 more than Pecco Bagnaia, currently fifth in the overall standings.
