LBA Awards, three nominees from Reyer Venezia

È the time has come for the LBA Awards presented by UnipolSai: from May 7 to 12 fans and enthusiasts will be able to express their preferences, after registering on the LBA website and app, to award the Lega Basket Serie A prizes dedicated to the protagonists of the regular season of the 2023-2024 UnipolSai Serie A.

There are as many as three nominees for Reyer Venezia: Rayjon Tucker for MVP of the regular season, Davide Casarin for Best Under 22 Player of the regular season and Kyle Wiltjer for Best Sixth Man of the regular season.

On May 14 the placings from tenth to fourth for the MVP award and the names of the players who will make up the podium, shown in random order, will be revealed before the announcement scheduled for May 15, when the winners of all other awards will also be revealed.

In the first phase, a specialized panel consisting of media and community members and, for the first time, all players from the 16 Serie A clubs participated in voting for the various individual awards. Together with the coaches and head coaches and an executive from each team, preferences were thus expressed for two awards that were introduced this season: the’LBA Referee Of The Year, awarded to the best referee of the 2023/24 regular season, and the’LBA Executive Of The Year for the best executive (the latter voted only by executives, coaches, media and community).

Among the novelties of this edition is the award  Play of the Year – Doctor Glass, dedicated to the most spectacular play of the 2023-24 regular season and the only award that will be voted only by fans and fans on Friday, May 10 on the LBA social channels.
