Paolo Zanetti è the new coach of Verona. After the farewell of Marco Baroni, announced Tuesday as the new coach of Lazio, the Verona club has chosen to bet on the former Empoli coach, who has signed until 2025 with an option for the second year.

This was communicated by the same club gialloblù through an official note: "Hellas Verona FC announces that it has entrusted the technical leadership of the first team to Paolo Zanetti, who has been bound to the club gialloblù until June 30, 2025 with an option for the second year".

"Zanetti, 41, a native of Valdagno, after two years in Lega Pro, on the bench of Südtirol, landed in Serie B with Venezia, with which he won promotion to Serie A. After the Serie A season with the Veneti, he moves to the Empoli with whom he achieves the goal of salvation in the 2022/2023".
