Great Italy in the Netherlands
È at least for the moment, a great success for Italy at the KLM Open in the Netherlands. In Amsterdam, with one round to go in the DP World Tour tournament, Guido Migliozzi is in second place with a score of 203 (68 69 66, -10), just one stroke behind leader Mikko Korhonen of Finland, who leads the leaderboard with 202 (64 68 70, -11).
The fight for victory at The International (par 71) will also see Matteo Manassero, who was already the leader after the first round, fifth at the halfway point and now third with 204 (64 71 69, -9), in the company of Denmark’s Rasmus Hojgaard (70 65 69) and the U.S.’s Sean Crocker (66 67 71).
There are three Italians in the Top 10, with Edoardo Molinari, vice-captain of Team Europe at the 2023 Ryder Cup in Rome and the 2025 Ryder Cup in Bethpage, New York, in ninth place with 206 (66 70 70, -7). They are followed by Filippo Celli, 15th with 208 (67 69 72, -5), and Andrea Pavan, 22nd with 209 (68 70 71, -4). Moreù distant è Francesco Laporta, who is in 50th place with 213 (68 68 77, par).
