F1, Austrian GP: Max Verstappen wins Sprint ahead of Piastri and Norris
Max Verstappen also wins the third Sprint Race of the Formula 1 World Championship in the Austrian Grand Prix. On the Red Bull Ring circuit, the Dutch driver, who started from the pole, finished ahead of the McLarens of Oscar Piastri and Lando Norris, who engaged in an exciting duel until the last in which the Australian got the better of him.
Behind the podium there'è was battle between Mercedes and Ferrari. Coming out on top è was George Russell who è placed fourth, ahead of Carlos Sainz, fifth. Also beating the other Rossa of Charles Leclerc, conditioned by a technical problem, in seventh place, behind the other Mercedes of Lewis Hamilton, sixth.
Completing the top 10 is the Red Bull of Sergio Perez, the last driver to score points. Just outside the points zone, however, are the Haas of Kevin Magnussen, in ninth place, and the Aston Martin of Lance Stroll, tenth.
