Gasperini content, what a blow for Atalanta
Gasp has a new bomber
Following Gian Piero Gasperini’s recent statements, complaining about the lack of strikers and the obligation to have to adapt midfielders in more offensive roles, the Orbico club responded and pleased its coach. In fact, overnight, Atalanta reached an agreement with Sturm Graz for the transfer of Danish striker Rasmus Hojlund to the Nerazzurri shirt. Despite his young age – Hojlund is a class of 2003 – this is an important investment: the Bergamo club paid him 17 million euros, as reported by Sky Sport.
Hojlund, who some compare to Erling Haaland, had also been followed by Club Brugge, but he chose Dea and is expected as early as Friday to undergo medical examinations and sign the contract. Gasp will thus have at his disposal a new bomber in his offensive chessboard, the forward so much in demand in recent weeks.
The first few days of Serie A will see the incoming and outgoing soccer market still in the spotlight although the matches have already begun: in August, in fact, as many as four rounds will be played, since the calendar has been largely conditioned by the World Cup that will be staged in Qatar. And which, as we all know, will unfortunately not see the Italian national team at the start, having failed to qualify for the review for the second time in a row.
