Paolo Vanoli doesn’t want to stop

Paolo Vanoli, Torino coach, presented the challenge with Parma, scheduled for Saturday at the 'Tardini' at 3 p.m., in a press conference: "Now we must not stop: the victories with Milan and Monza have given us more self-confidence and so far we are having a good continuity; on the level of mentality; we have grown. But, as I have been saying since’the beginning of the round of return, every match for us è a final: we have to continue with improvements, thinking also to build an important base for the future".

" We must not forget that tomorrow we will be up against a team that is fighting to win points for salvation and that can put us in difficulty – added the granata coach. It will be a difficult match, not to be mistaken. I see around us a’wave of enthusiasm that I want to cultivate, but we must not get cocky. We have high motivation, very high: today we already have 7 more points than in the first half of the season, we are looking for the third consecutive victory, we can close the salvation discourse to open another".

Vanoli returns to Parma where as a player he won a Uefa Cup, an Italian Cup and an Italian Super Cup from 1998 to 2000: "I have a beautiful memory. I had the pleasure of playing in a great team: if I achieved great results, è it was also thanks to these champions who taught me so much: soì I won the National".

The Toro coach celebrates 100 career benches with the Gialloblù "I did not know about this achievement, I am very happy about it: I hope to make another hundred, it will mean that my path will be continued. I like this coaching role very much, much more than I thought when I started and I can say that the Vanoli coach è definitely better than the Vanoli footballer. In this journey, the thing that gives me the most pleasure è that everything I have done I have always earned. I have been lucky enough to stand behind great coaches and learn the job from them. It’ s been a good journey so far, but I am one who is used to always looking ahead-I can still improve a lot".

Closing remark on the renewal of Valentino Lazaro: "I am happy for Valentino, è a well-deserved extension. He has done well on the field: today è matured, maybe his good fortune è was our change of module because é it gave him the possibility è to play ten meters further forward. This psychologically did a lot: he was having less trouble running ten meters more forward than running not ten meters more backward. Valentino gives this team balance defensively, but he gives us in the last area of the field his plays. He must not stop but must continue on this road".
