Marco Baroni doesn’t look for alibis and charges his Lazio

After the heavy knock against Bologna before the national team break, Lazio is called upon to resume its chase for the next Champions League against Paolo Vanoli’s Torino. Speaking at a press conference, Biancocelesti coach Marco Baroni wanted to charge his side ahead of the season finale.
“We are all focused on the next game, we have been since the knockout with Bologna. Criticism is part of our work, especially when it is objective, because from mistakes we can learn. We know very well that we have entered the most important part of the season and we will have to be ready” began the Lazio coach.
“In the last challenge with Bologna we paid the tiredness of having played seven games in twenty days, but now the team is fine. The break recharged us mentally. Some players this year will play more than 60 games which is almost two full championships, this should not be an alibi, but should give us additional stimulus. The most important moment of the season awaits us, and I am convinced of the qualities this team has. Torino is an important opponent that has lost only one match in the last 12 outings, so we will need the best Lazio to bring home the three points” continued the biancocelesti’coach.
“Success against Torino would be crucial for us. We know the difficulties of the match, but we are focused and determined to play a great game from all points of view” added the’former coach of Verona and Lecce.
“My focus right now is exclusively on the field. I have the’experience to understand and handle these situations. We have to work on route awareness, aware of the matches we will have to face. We must never give up the confidence and joy to face these matches. We have entered the most important part of the season and we will have to take the field with our heads held high, with confidence and without fear” concluded Marco Baroni.
