Davide Tardozzi in the Gazzetta dello Sport has returned to talk about the booing of Marc Marquez at Mugello: “These are situations that I have never accepted, even when Marc was not with us, because to hear someone who has won being booed has always seemed bad to me”.

“I like to think that a motorcycle fan is a little more sporting. In soccer, opponents are booed or jeered at with the intention of getting nervous, to help their team”, added the Ducati team manager.

For Tardozzi, the reason is one: “Am I convinced that all this rancor towards Marc is due to the events of 2015 with Valentino Rossi? Absolutely yes. Events that, however, everyone knows only partially. It is known how it went at Sepang, but there is a lot more behind it that is not public knowledge and in part was not even the fault of the two riders. Having said that the blame in my opinion was 50/50, what matters after ten years is that Vale and Marc are two icons of motorcycling and should be adored by everyone”.

The Ducati team manager, however, now has a dream: “That two such champions don&#8217t talk to each other, as a lover of motorcycling, is a disappointment. Because they could do things together and send positive messages to grow our sport. I understand Valentino’s bitterness that with that penalty he lost the tenth World Championship he would have deserved, but I think we should know how to look ahead. I dream that Vale gives a signal to try to clarify, because I think Marc would be willing. It is my feeling eh, I never talked about it with him…”.
