No Serie A: De Paul goes to play with Messi in Miami

Rodrigo De Paul is leaving Atletico Madrid and moving to Inter Miami from national teammate Lionel Messi. The Argentine midfielder, world champion in 2022, will leave the Colchoneros after four years to land in MLS to sign a contract with Inter Miami.

In Madrid since 2021, Rodrigo De Paul has played 187 games under Diego Simeone’s orders, scoring 14 goals. In Miami, in addition to his captain Leo Messi, he will find other old acquaintances of European soccer such as Luis Suarez, Busquets and Jordi Alba.

De Paul has also played in his career for Racing Club, Valencia, and Udinese. For him, 78 appearances with the Argentine national team.
