Federico Baschirotto, Simone Giacchetta rattles Lecce fans

Federico Baschirotto could leave Lecce. Cremonese, in fact, has set its eyes on the powerful Italian central defender, who has already played for the Berretti team of the grigiorosso club in the 2014-2015 season.

Confirming the interest in Baschirotto was Simone Giacchetta, ds of Cremonese, who spoke to Sky Sport microphones at ‘Calciomercato’: “It’s another interesting situation. We are trying to see if we can bring him back to Cremona, where he grew up”.

The Lombard club would be willing to put three million euros in the pot for the Salentini captain, who would sign a three-year contract with Cremonese.

Baschirotto has collected 116 appearances with the Lecce shirt in three seasons, scoring five goals and providing two assists among all competitions.
