Jannik Sinner catches up with Carlos Alcaraz

After Carlos Alcaraz, Jannik Sinner also clinches mathematical access to the Turin 2025 ATP Finals. The world number one, second in the ATP Race with 6,010 points, qualified just behind the Murcian, who commands the ranking at 7,550.

The Blue has pulled off the pass to Turin by playing only five tournaments, half as many as the Spaniard (10). So far Sinner has won 2 Slams (Australian Open and Wimbledon) in 2025 and made two finals (Internazionali d’Italia and Roland Garros).

The South Tyrolean star will play the ATP Finals for the third consecutive time: in 2023 he was defeated in the final by Novak Djokovic, while in 2024 he lifted the trophy by beating Taylor Fritz in the final.

There is hope of having another Azzurro at the ATP Finals in Turin: Lorenzo Musetti is in fact ninth in the Race, just 75 points behind Alex De Minaur, eighth and currently the last qualifier.
