Chivu doesn’t enjoy the comeback and worries about the schedule

Cristian Chivu spoke to the microphones of Inter TV after the match won at home against Monaco: “It is an August match, of preparation, with the legs still not turning as they should but it was a good test“.
“We have to take minutes because time is running out, there are 17 days until the start of the championship, I take home the character and the desire to turn the game around despite the difficulties we had playing with ten men”.
“It is difficult to make an’analysis because physically we are not yet at our best but we made meters and volume. Obviously we still lack brilliance and lucidity under goal, in eleven we took sharp chances in the first twenty minutes”.
“Of the result I care little, I don’t want to win the August cup, I care about the team gaining confidence and fuel for what is to come. I coach Inter, a group of strong players who can do better and better in every aspect, individually and collectively and that is what I try to explain to them every day”.
