Marc Marquez unstoppable also in Hungary: the Ducati centaur has won at Balaton Park his seventh consecutive victory, completing a perfect weekend with Saturday’s success in the Sprint race and the pole position. Despite a flawed start, the Catalan driver remounted and then pulled away from everyone by imposing a deadly pace, leaving rivals no chance.

On the podium with him are KTM centaur Pedro Acosta and Aprilia rider Marco Bezzecchi. World champion Jorge Martin (Aprilia) is fourth ahead of an excellent Luca Marini (Honda), who confirms his encouraging result in Saturday’s sprint, and then Franco Morbidelli of Ducati VR46, Brad Binder, Pol Espargaró, and former world champions Pecco Bagnaia and Fabio Quartararo. Badly Di Giannantonio due to a technical problem with his bike, out went the two Gresini team riders Alex Marquez and Fermin Aldeguer.

Marquez after a contact at the start is overtaken by Bezzecchi and Morbidelli, while behind them fall dangerously in the middle of the group Bastianini and Alex Marquez. Despite the Aprilia rider’s attempts to stretch, Marquez quickly got back underneath with a series of fast laps and after an initial bump overtook Bezzecchi with 16 laps to go.

Once he took the lead, Marquez immediately made the gap by increasing his pace, leaving no chance for Bezzecchi, who was then also overtaken by KTM centaur Pedro Acosta. Bagnaia re-enters the top 10 but also complicit in a long lap penalty fails to climb into the top positions. The top of the race is crystallized until the finish.
