Napoli celebrates: it is done for the arrival of Rasmus Hojlund under Vesuvius. The Manchester United striker, formerly of Atalanta, has accepted the contract offered by the partenopei, who are now preparing to close the deal with the Red Devils.
The Danish striker lands in Campania on an onerous loan deal for 5 million euros, with a buy-back obligation contingent on the number of goals, appearances and Champions League qualification. The figure for the total redemption of the player’s card is set at 38 million euros.
Hojlund had been very close to AC Milan in recent days, but it was Napoli that came out on top and closed the deal, which became necessary especially after Romelu Lukaku’s injury.
The’former Atalanta thus closes an experience of ups and downs in Manchester: in two years the player played 95 games in total, scoring 26 goals.
