US Open: Carlos Alcaraz disposes of Jiri Lehecka and advances to the semifinals

Carlos Alcaraz eliminates Jiri Lehecka and qualifies for the US Open final.
The world number two, who aspires to the throne of Jannik Sinner, closed the file in three sets with the scores of 6-4, 6-2, 6-4, clinching a place among the top four at the Flushing Meadows Slam, the last of the season. He will face one of Novak Djokovic or Taylor Fritz in the semifinals.
Alcaraz continues his so far immaculate run: the Spaniard has yet to lose a set after facing Opelka, Bellucci, Darderi, Rinderknech, and Lehecka over the course of the tournament. The Murcian started off strong right away, getting a break in the first game, enough to close out the first partial with confidence, on the strength of an impregnable serve.
In the second set Alcaraz again broke the Czech in the first game, and closed easily without conceding break points. The third set was more balanced, with Lehecka managing to hold the serve in the early games but never bothering the Iberian in response. And Alcaraz, in full control of the match, then raised the level in the ninth game by finding the break that finally closed a match that was never in dispute. Dominant victory and message to all, including rival Jannik Sinner.
