Adriano Panatta returned to talk about the U.S. Open final during “It is always Cartabianca” broadcast on Rete 4: “Jannik Sinner is a perfect machine, basing everything on’intensity and with few errors. Carlos Alcaraz, on the other hand, has more solutions and imagination”.
“Alcaraz won because he played better; the difference between the two is very marked. In recent months Alcaraz has been drawing from Sinner’s doses, namely making fewer mistakes and becoming less exuberant. Sinner must now do the same”.
“After the final, Sinner said he has to learn. It is a great lesson for everyone. He said a beautiful thing. Who do I see myself in? It has been 50 years, it is a different sport”.
