Kay Felder wears red and white: the promise of the'ex-NBA

After also playing in the NBA, with the jerseys of the Cleveland Cavaliers, Chicago Bulls and Detroit Pistons, before a long stint in China, Kay Felder has chosen to try his hand in Italy, specifically with VL Pesaro, a club committed to Serie A2. The 30-year-old Detroit-born point guard was officially presented on Tuesday in the presence of director of operations Matteo Magi and d.s. Nicola Egidio.
“I am very happy to have arrived here in Pesaro – said Felder -I want to thank the club for this important opportunity and for really believing in me, as well as the fans for the affection I have already felt in these my first hours in the city. I am a player who scores and scores. This is a perfect fit technically and environmentally at this time in my career”.
The’ex-NBA player is in a promising mood for the upcoming season: “I intend to bring good joys to this audience by contributing to team successes. Compared to the past, I feel like a more mature person. My dunks? I have always been gifted with great verticality and jumping skills. Over the years I have improved my ability in terms of working with the medical and health staff to be as fit as possible, taking care of the part related to nutrition”.
So d.s. Egidio: “Kay completes the roster at the end of a complex market, considering previous contractual situations with players from last season. ‘Patience’ is the key word that led us to sign a player with important specific weight, bringing to Pesaro a spectacular athlete capable of igniting the public”.
“Felder is the ideal piece for our team, a player who gives dangerousness in one-on-one situations and who can create advantages off the dribble. I would like to thank Dr. Piero Benelli and athletic trainer Roberto Venerandi for their excellent work in the days of ‘evaluation’ of Felder by us before signing the contract. We are looking at an important player” concluded the red and white executive.
