Ferrari-Leclerc, the seventh-year crisis: the future is a big unknown

It was supposed to be the season of consecration. Instead, to date, it is his worst year with the Red. Leclerc is living a nightmare. The Singapore GP was the’umpteenth race to forget. For someone who dreams of becoming World Champion, to continue as a mere spectator is mortifying.
“It feels like we are passengers in the car, we can”t get much more out of it” the Monegasque’s words after finishing sixth in Marina Bay. Statements that have a flavor of surrender. Leclerc is in his seventh year at Ferrari. By now he is no longer very young (27 years old) and is in a hurry to have a single-seater that can allow him to fight for the title.
He was convinced that the SF-25 was the right car. Instead, seasonal results have confirmed that this is not the case at all. No GP wins and a lot of frustration for the Monegasque who, race after race, seems increasingly disheartened.
C’s the best car in the world.
There are those who believe that, soon, Leclerc will be looking around. Rumor has it that his agent is starting to see if there is any team, capable of fighting to win the World Championship, that might be perfect for his client. True, in 2026 everything will change but Leclerc is tired of waiting, as are all the people of the Cavallino.
