Palladino on cloud nine
Three games, three victories. Raffaele Palladino’s adventure at the helm of Monza could not have started better. “I don’t like statistics, but I am particularly happy with the fact that we have not conceded any goals in these three matches,” says Giovanni Stroppa’s successor on the biancorossa bench.
“I gave the boys courage, they were very down in the dumps after the start of the championship,” Palladino adds. Berlusconi and Galliani love Monza and I am happy with the satisfaction we are giving them. Against Spezia, a team we feared a lot, a dirty game came out. I knew that Gotti could put us in trouble with a formation that knows how to make the opponent play badly. After the lead goal we got unblocked, but in the second half we could have done better.”
“I have a wonderful group. We have become a team and we know we are difficult to face. But woe betide us, the goal remains salvation,” concluded the Brianzoli coach.
