Damien Comolli is the new CEO of Juventus. The appointment came after the board of directors met under the chairmanship of Gianluca Ferrero.

“The board of directors has appointed Damien Comolli as chief executive officer, with simultaneous termination of his previous position as general manager, giving him powers of administration substantially in continuity with the previous’set-up” reads the note issued by the company.

“I am obsessed with winning, every day I think about how to do it: in a club like this, winning has to be an’obsession– said Comolli. Elkann is passionate about soccer just like me, he too always wants to win and his commitment to Juve is something tangible and I thank him for this opportunity: it is a privilege and a great honor to be able to manage a club like this.

“I approach it in an ambitious and modest way, the’only thing we want is to get back to winning Whatever the partner, we are open to collaboration and suggestions: positive dialogue is always needed. We are happy to cooperate with Francesco (Garino, Tether representative, ed.), and we will hear any ideas and we need to listen to any opinions from the minority partners: I put aside the negative things and have a positive approach”.
