Ducati, Marc Marquez celebrate in Cervera: Tardozzi and Dall'Igna guests of honor

Celebration for the Marquez brothers in Cervera after an extraordinary 2025: Marc Marquez won the ninth career title at the end of a dominated World Championship, while brother Alex became vice world champion, winning his first three career MotoGP races.
Saturday, Ducati general manager and team manager Gigi Dall’Igna and Davide Tardozzi were also present at the big party in the Marquez hometown, celebrated by the number 93’s fans.
Marquez at one point on stage called him out on it: “Tardozzi, I am red eh!”, he exclaimed referring to the fischi episode in Misano, when the Ducati executive had stood up for Marc.
At the event in the town of 9,000 inhabitants were also present Mayor Jan Pomes and Spanish Sports Minister Pilar Alegria. “I don’t like to use this word, because it sounds like nostalgia, but it was a historic year. And it’s unlikely to be repeated, although we’ll try next year. We have taken it for granted since the first podium shared in Thailand. But it is unreal, it has never happened before” said Marc Marquez on stage.
