Serie A 2025-2026: Parma-Udinese, the likely lineups

Parma returns to the Tardini with the goal of regaining a home victory that has been missing for 61 days. Today at 3 p.m., the Crusaders face Udinese to give continuity to the first external success of the season, won in Verona. Hitting two wins in a row in Serie A would be a goal Parma has not achieved since July 2020, when Roberto D’Aversa sat on the bench. The only domestic success this season, however, dates back to Sept. 29 against Torino. Facing them will be a Udinese side that is coming off two consecutive defeats but has picked up seven points in six games away from home.

Cuesta’s lineup should largely trace the victorious eleven in Verona, although there is no shortage of doubts. Everything revolves around Britschgi: with him on the field it would go toward the usual 3-5-2, but a switch to a four-man defense is not excluded, with Delprato moved to the flank. Also possible is a rearrangement in midfield by inserting Estévez or Hernani, or some solution between the lines. In the ballots, Corvi, Løvik and Cutrone appear ahead of Guaita, Valeri and Benedyczak. Almqvist, Ondrejka and Oristanio are expected to find space in the running game.

Runjaić has almost the entire squad at his disposal, but the knot on the left flank remains to be untangled. Kamara, who came off injured against Bologna, is expected to make way for Rui Modesto. Also out in defense is Kristensen: Kabasele is expected in his place, with Bertola (or young Palma) and Solet completing the department. In the middle Atta is untouchable, while Zarraga and Ekkelenkamp represent alternatives to the favorites Piotrowski and Karlström. No doubts, however, in attack: the Davis-Zaniolo tandem is confirmed.

Probable lineups:

Parma (3-5-2): Corvi; Delprato, Troilo, Valenti; Bernabé, Sørensen, Keita, Estévez, Løvik; Cutrone, Pellegrino. All: Cuesta

Udinese (3-5-2): Okoye; Bertola, Kabasele, Solet; Zanoli, Piotrowski, Karlström, Atta, Modesto; Davis, Zaniolo. All: Runjaić
