Sky Sports remains the home of MotoGP for the next two years

Sky Sport remains the home of MotoGp for the next two years: Sky has found the multi-year agreement with Dorna Sports, which holds the commercial rights to the MotoGP World Championship, and has acquired the broadcast rights for all Grand Prix of the FIM MotoGP World Championship up to and including the 2027 season. MotoGP, Moto2 and Moto3 Grand Prix will continue to be broadcast live on Sky and Now, with some races of the three classes also visible free-to-air on TV8.
This is the satisfaction of Andrea Duilio, CEO Sky Italia: “We are proud to announce this new agreement with Dorna and to continue to bring the adrenaline of two wheels into the homes of fans, with the excellence of our sports storytelling and the latest technology. MotoGP has been a staple of our Sports House’s extensive motorsport offering for 11 years and will remain so until the end of 2027. This is a confirmation of how important MotoGP and all MotoGP classes are to Sky, which will continue to provide the best viewing experience possible.”
“Sky Sports is a fantastic partner for MotoGP – said –Carmelo Ezpeleta, CEO of Dorna Sports.”
In 2025, MotoGP saw an increase in global average viewership, significant growth in its global fanbase, and nine record viewerships, nearly half of the season. We aim even higher as we look to the future. Partners like Sky Sports, who showcase the best of the sport and bring fans into the heart of the action, play a key role in the future. We are very happy to see the most exciting sport in the world continue on Sky Sports for two more seasons”.
The reference channel will always be Sky Sport MotoGP, which has been broadcasting this great sport for 11 years, with about 30 hours live for each weekend on the track dedicated to races, studies, in-depth reports, columns and original productions. Already starting from the beginning of the new year, with the Shakedown Test and the first official MotoGP tests expected at the end of January in Sepang, channel 208 will continue to offer complete and quality editorial coverage thanks to the great team of Sky Sport and the best technological systems.
Sky thus confirms itself as the benchmark for global motorsport thanks to a very rich offer that includes the Formula 1 World Championship, Formula 2, Formula 3, Porsche Super Cup, as well as NTT IndyCar, F1 Academy, Lamborghini Super Trofeo and much more. In addition, for the 2026 season, Sky will also be the official broadcaster of the Dakar, offering highlights and daily updates of all stages of the competition.
