MotoGp, Max Biaggi ruthless on the 8 Ducatis and Fabio Quartararo
MotoGp, Max Biaggi: “I don’t like to see so many Ducatis on the track.”
Max Biaggi in an interview with Gazzetta dello Sport had his say unabashedly about the duel for the world championship between Fabio Quartararo and Pecco Bagnaia. First of all, the Corsair excluded Aleix Espargarò from the fight: “Aleix in my opinion has everything to try to win at Phillip Island, I see him very well also in Malaysia, while I fear he will suffer in Valencia. Aleix has been extraordinary this year, but never having fought for a World Championship doesn’t help.”
Quartararo has now been joined by Bagnaia, according to Biaggi through no fault of his own: “What World Championship would we have seen if Fabio Quartararo could have counted on a few more horses? In a tussle he often struggles and when he has to battle he loses positions. After this long comeback by Bagnaia, I don’t think Fabio’s head is as strong as it was five races ago.”
Fighting against eight Ducatis makes it more difficult: “Eight Ducatis on the track is too many, I don’t like this, but you have to recognize that the Desmosedici is strong with all the riders and that Gigi Dall’Igna has done a great job.”
