Moto3, Izan Guevara speechless after winning the title
First world title for young driver from Palma de Mallorca
If in MotoGp the games are still wide open (despite the tear given by Pecco Bagnaia), in Moto3 the world discourse was closed on the Australian weekend: in fact, winning the Grand Prix run on the Phillip Island circuit, Izan Guevara won the world title, the first of his career for the very young Majorcan, born in 2004.
Guevara, who had a 49-point lead over Dennis Foggia before the race, would not be satisfied and indeed went on to take a win (ahead of Deniz Oncu and Sergio Garcia) that left him speechless and in disbelief after returning from the lap of honor.
For Spain, it is MotoGP title number 56; Guevara is the 23rd Iberian rider to claim the world championship title.
