Francesco Totti may return to Roma. The former Giallorossi captain is preparing to return to the club nearly seven years later. It was, in fact, June 17, 2019, when Totti resigned after a two-year period in which he had first held the position of collaborator of the’technical area, and then was promoted to manager of the sports area but without ever having full autonomy in the decisions of the Capitoline leadership.

Opening up on Totti’s possible return to Roma was Claudio Ranieri, former coach of the Giallorossi club and now senior advisor to the Friedkins, who spoke at the microphones of Sky Sport. “I know the Friedkins are thinking about it – admitted the’former coach of Cagliari and Leicester among others -, I hope Francesco can be really useful to Roma also because he is really part of Roma”.
