Cremonese qualified for the round of 16 of the Italian Cup.
The grigiorossi, however, needed extra time to defeat Modena 4-2, which was down ten from the 21st minute but was able to get back on track after the 2-0 signed by Okereke (77′) and Felix (84′) that seemed to have sealed the challenge.
Diaw in one minute (89′ and 90′) postponed the verdict but another double, this time by Sernicola, gave the hosts passage to the round.
Cremonese will now face Luciano Spalletti’s Napoli.
