The former Inter midfielder was decisive against Juventus: a goal in the first leg and a goal in the return leg (with even a kissing assist for the Portuguese’s momentary 3-1 win), always on a penalty kick.
On Mediaset, Joao Mario returned to talk about his experience in Italy with the Nerazzurri shirt (four goals in 69 total matches): “That is the past. My experience there did not go very well but I learned a lot in Milan. What I learned there made me the player I have become now,” his words.
