Spal, Daniele De Rossi: “Attitude to be rewarded”

Spal coach Daniele De Rossi spoke after the home draw against Sudtirol in the match valid for the 11th day of Serie B.

The Estensi were caught up in the second half after Meccariello took the lead in the first minutes of the match.

“We started well both from the point of view of dribbling and productivity, in fact we scored right away. We got a little too low, both in the rest of the first half and at the beginning of the second. After their equalizer we came out well, putting the inertia of the game back on our side,” said the coach of the biancazzurra team.

Then De Rossi concluded with compliments for his men, “It’s not easy to play against Sudtirol, because they have players with physicality and leg and very good alternatives. The boys played a game of heart and sacrifice: we had to be more orderly and concrete, but their attitude is to be rewarded. We missed the second goal because, if it had come, maybe it would have been a game like the one with Cosenza. We dribbled a lot and well, but we had to do even better.”
