MotoGp Ducati, Ciabatti direct about Fabio Di Giannantonio’s future
Fabio Di Giannantonio had a complicated first season in MotoGp
Fabio Di Giannantonio is not to be touched: the general manager of Ducati Corse, Paolo Ciabatti, confirmed his confidence in the Team Gresini rider after a not so scintillating first MotoGp season.
While more experienced teammate Enea Bastianini was winning races and scoring top tens, the Roman centaur struggled to adapt to the new bike and the new category. He has not scored any points in the last six races, and after Malaysia he let loose on an outburst on Instagram, ending with a sibylline “after Valencia another chapter opens, who knows, knows…”
Ciabatti reassured him in an interview with Speedweek: “Di Giannantonio is confirmed for 2023, his chief mechanic will be Frankie Carchedi. Nothing will change in that regard.”
