Reyer Venezia announces another farewell

Umana Reyer salutes and thanks Austin Daye.
Through an official note, the Veneti announced the farewell to Austin Daye, “who after 5 seasons and 224 games will no longer wear the Umana Reyer jersey. Arrived in February 2018, Austin became the 11th player ever for appearances in Reyer and was the protagonist of the FIBA Europe Cup, Scudetto and Coppa Italia victories, being MVP of the latter two trophies,” reads the club’s statement.
“The club thanks Daye for all he has done for our jersey, his name will forever remain etched in the history books of Venetian basketball.
Best of luck in your future Austin, we wish you the best!” the note concludes.
