Novak Djokovic to applause
Novak Djokovic is to be applauded: the Serbian champion, fresh from winning Wimbledon, attended the opening ceremony of a tennis facility in Visoko, a town in Bosnia and Herzegovina about 30 km from Sarajevo. The center will be tasked with promoting tennis especially among younger people.
“Today is a great day for Visoko, for Bosnia and Herzegovina, and for the whole region,” Djokovic’s words reported by Rai Sport. “I am happy to be here and to see a large number of children and young people caressing their dreams; we did that too when we were their age.
The Serbian champion during the day also featured some exhibition matches with tennis players such as Aljaz Bedene, a member of the Slovenian national team, Croatian Ivan Dodig and Bosnian Aldin Setkic.
