The Suns have tied the Pacers’ offer.
The long soap opera starring Ayton has come to an end. The Suns decided to draw the Pacers’ offer and thus retained what is a key part of the group. For the long, four-year contract at $133 million total.
Over the moon Ayton himself: “This is a blessing. This contract has an incredible impact on my family but also on what we want to do in the Phoenix community and at home in the Bahamas,” his words reported by ESPN. A quip also about the future: “I’m happy, I’ve put it all behind me and now I can get back to thinking about what I need to do on the court.”
