Jose Mourinho comes out of the closet with Andrea Belotti
“If it is true that he wants so much to come to Roma…”
On the eve of his debut in front of his own public in Monday afternoon’s match against Cremonese, Jose Mourinho spoke in a press conference. Reporters’ questions obviously focused on the latest market fires before the close of trading. And on the Belotti soap opera. The ‘Rooster’, about to settle at the capital club for weeks now, still does not arrive, and so the Portuguese, in his own way, tried to stimulate the whole environment, including the player, for the happy conclusion of the deal.
“If you ask me if I would like to have another striker on the roster I will not answer, because director Tiago Pinto knows and I simply have to wait with the hope that it can be done. If it cannot be done, we go ahead with what we have,” the Special One began. “If Belotti is a player of Torino or another team I don’t answer, but since he is free I can say something: if it is true that he wants so much to come to Roma, I like this feeling so much. If he comes or doesn’t come I can’t say because I don’t know. Let’s wait and see,” he concluded.
