Daniel Ricciardo postpones his farewell to Formula 1
Daniel Ricciardo’s words
Daniel Ricciardo is not giving up, despite the fact that his farewell to McLaren at the end of the season is now official: “Belgium was a disappointing weekend, after the race we analyzed the data, but once we studied it we set ourselves the new goal of looking ahead. There was a misstep, but you have to have the strength to try to get back up: what was is what was, now we have to improve.”
“In the next few weeks we will see what will become of my future,” added the Australian. “With everything that is happening, the best thing for me is not to make any hasty decisions. I want to evaluate everything calmly and get my ideas. In any case, I want to continue doing what I am doing; there are no guarantees, but we will see what happens. Now I have no more secrets, but it will still take some time before I come to a conclusion. I just see myself as an IndyCar fan, and I feel that I still have a job to complete here. I am proud of what I have done here, but there is still a lot of me in F1. So I want to continue here before I can devote myself to anything else.”
