Ducati, Enea Bastianini explodes: ‘Very angry’
Difficult Saturday for Ducati Gresini team rider Enea Bastianini, who also lashed out at Oliveira for obstructing him
Team Ducati Gresini centaur Enea Bastianini commented bitterly on his Australian Grand Prix qualifying session, closing in 15th place. The rider from Rimini in Q1 was hindered in the final by Miguel Oliveira, which made him lose access to Q2: “I am very angry. He tried the start on the last lap, it’s strange this thing, you can’t do the start test: it cost me access to Q2. Now the race commission will decide.”
In general Bastianini is not happy: “The bike was moving a lot, especially in the entry to the corners the situation was critical. Then we improved and what happened happened. For the race, the choice of tires will be crucial.”
