Reyer Venezia, Jayson Granger ‘draws’ the typical game
“With Olimpia Milano, it was a great victory,” Granger said.
Reyer Venezia’s point guard Jayson Granger returned to the Venetian team’s big win against Ettore Messina’s Olimpia Milano, a success later duplicated by the Eurocup victory over Cluj-Napoca.
“The one with Milan was a great victory, a kind of declaration of intent of how we can compete against any opponent. It’s the kind of game we should always play throughout the season. We need to adjust some details offensively and defensively but the one we are taking is the right path,” the former Alba Berlin and Saski Baskonia player among others explained to ‘The Gazette’.
“In the first three league games shots went in and out but I tried to continue to be aggressive. In the last 80′ instead I was more precise but my role is also to help the team in many other aspects of the game. I can make my leadership and experience available to the group especially in important games like the one against Milan,” continued the Uruguayan playmaker with Italian citizenship.
Reyer is now awaiting a commitment away from home, on the parquet of Tortona, which last year eliminated the Orogranata in the playoff quarterfinals.
