F1, Helmut Marko doesn’t give Mick Schumacher a chance
Red Bull adviser: “Mick Schumacher? There is no sign of confidence in him.”
Red Bull advisor Helmut Marko in an interview with RTL gave his opinion on the future of Mick Schumacher, who may not be confirmed by Haas for 2023: “When a team publicly criticizes the driver as strongly as sometimes happens with Schumacher, it shows that there is no sign of trust within the team.”
“If I were at Haas, I would bet on a talent alongside a veteran like Magnussen, but they don’t seem to be going in this direction also because of a lack of profiles,” are the words of the Austrian team executive. “They need points for the Constructors’ World Championship in which money is dancing, and I think they take a veteran. Hulkenberg? He has qualities and has shown them recently. He jumps into the car as a reserve driver with no test miles, so to speak, and shows coolness, driving his car to the finish line. That says a lot.”
