Red Bull, Max Vestappen looks beyond Formula 1
Max Verstappen looks beyond F1
Max Verstappen, world champion in Formula 1 in the 2021 and 2022 seasons, has indicated his desire to want to change categories once his contract with the Austrian team expires in 2028.
“I don’t think I will race until I’m 40, there are too many races and it’s too far from home: then I want to do something else. F1 is a lot of fun and I’m having great results at the moment,” admitted the Dutchman in words reported by ‘FormulaPassion’.
Finally, Verstappen pointed to his chosen category for the future: “I will probably be competitive for a few more years, but I also want to do other experiences, have a bit more fun with less pressure and less commitments. Mainly I am referring to Endurance.”
It was Sebastian Vettel who was the first driver to win a world championship with Red Bull. The German put everyone in line for four years in a row, from 2010 to 2013. The Austrian stable returned to success in 2021 thanks to Dutchman Max Verstappen, with the son of art repeating the following year. If there was a battle to the last in 2021, that was not the case in 2022.
