Reggio Emilia challenges Reyer Venezia
Federico Fucà, assistant coach of Pallacanestro UNAHOTELS Reggio Emilia, spoke about Sunday’s match at PalaBigi against Umana Reyer Venezia, coming off a loss to Badalona in the Eurocup that came at the final buzzer.
“I start by wishing good luck to the coach, whom I am hearing from on a daily basis, wishing him a speedy recovery and to have him back with us as soon as possible,” said Fucà referring to Dragan Sakota, who will not be able to be on the bench on Sunday because of Covid. “Aware of the very difficult moment we are experiencing, we want at all costs to try to turn things around, playing a game of energy and intensity on both sides of the court.
“Aware of the absolute value of Reyer Venezia, we will need an effort both physical and mental, made above all of attention and concentration for the entire duration of the match. It will have to be us, showing the right attitude and a fighting spirit, to drag our fans and make them help us try to win a victory of great prestige and importance,” concluded the Reggio Emilia assistant coach.
