Lewis Hamilton tries again with Manchester United
Lewis Hamilton’s words
Lewis Hamilton may become the new co-owner of Manchester United.
The rumors coming out of England about the English driver, who has already been hinted at Chelsea, are due to his relationship with the CEO of Ineos (sponsor of his Mercedes), Jim Ratcliffe, the richest man in Britain who is a big fan of the Red Devils.
“Jim is partly boss, but he is also a partner,” the Mercedes driver told The Mirror, “I would say we are more partners because we are together and I hope in the future to do something with Jim and build with him. I don’t know where and what will happen, so I can’t say for sure. He hasn’t called me yet to ask if I want to be involved in this bid, but I want to be more and more involved in the teams, because I really believe in the fact that there can be equity and ownership of color. Again, there is a real lack of that in the sport.”
