Cremonese, official the exoneration of Massimiliano Alvini
Massimiliano Alvini’s exoneration announcement arrived.
Massimiliano Alvini is no longer the coach of Cremonese. The news, in the air since the final whistle of the home match lost to Monza, was made official on Saturday evening by the grigiorosso club.
“U.S. Cremonese announces that it has relieved Massimiliano Alvini and his staff from the technical conduction of the first team,” the note reads. “The grigiorosso club wishes to thank the coach and his staff for the seriousness, professionalism and passion demonstrated in the daily work carried out during these months.
Alvini had taken over the technical reins of Cremonese after the grigiorossi’s promotion to Serie A, achieved with Fabio Pecchia on the bench. The balance of the 18 days speaks of 7 draws and 11 defeats, but mostly zero wins.
