Inter Milan, Simone Inzaghi looks ahead to Super Cup and speaks out on Lukaku
Simone Inzaghi is already looking ahead to the Super Cup
Inter ended Serie A Saturday with a narrow success against Hellas Verona, but for its coach, Simone Inzaghi, it is already time to think about the Super Cup, scheduled for Wednesday in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, against AC Milan.
“In the last 10 games Inter have won eight,” Inzaghi said, “despite an intense Champions League and many defections we have found a very good continuity. Unfortunately, the path of Napoli makes these 10 games seem normal. The Super Cup? We are thinking about it, they could recover Brozovic and Handanovic.”
Speaking of the Super Cup, the biggest doubt is related to Romelu Lukaku’s injury: “We have to monitor how the joint where he has the inflammation responds,” Inzaghi said. “Hopefully he can improve training after training.
