Dinamo Sassari, Piero Bucchi speaks out on Gerald Robinson
Piero Bucchi sheds light on Gerald Robinson’s condition
During the presentation of Sunday’s match (7:30 p.m. two-way ball) between Banco di Sardegna Sassari and GeVi Napoli at the latter’s home, the islanders’ coach Piero Bucchi also spoke about the physical condition of Gerald Robinson, who was injured in the second half of the game against Happy Casa Brindisi.
“We’re evaluating day by day, we’re trying to speed things up, we’ll make a decision tomorrow or Sunday morning at the latest,” said Bucchi, who retains hope of fielding the American in the Neapolitan trip.
“We have to look forward with confidence, the team is training well, it is true we have not very good games, but now we have a good face, good attitude and we always go on the court with the idea of winning the game, the spirit of the team is very much alive and battling, even when we lost the spirit was always that,” the 64-year-old coach added, talking about the game. “The important thing is that the team has the right attitude. The league is very tight and balanced, all the teams have strengthened and improved. Every game will be almost a playoff, even defeats are not so heavy. Ours is a team that has the mentality that we can win anywhere, we need to keep the right approach.”
