Pesaro knocked out, Jasmin Repesa also lashes out at referees
“Tonight we paid for Brescia’s great aggressiveness but…”
Speaking at a press conference after the Italian Cup semifinal defeat suffered at the hands of terrible freshman Germani Brescia, Carpegna Prosicutto Pesaro coach Jasmin Repesa did not hide the merits of the Lombard team. There was also no shortage of thanks to his players, who were capable of reaching such an important milestone as the penultimate act of the competition. However, the former coach of, among others, Fortitudo Bologna and Virtus Roma, had a polemical tail towards the referees of the match.
“Congratulations to Brescia for the victory. I have to thank the boys for what they have done so far, since reaching the Italian Cup semifinal with several players with important limitations in terms of physical condition did not allow us to express ourselves at our best. Tonight we paid for Brescia’s great aggressiveness, although I must emphasize the fact that I did not like the refereeing metre used during the 40 minutes. I apologize to the team, the club and the fans for the expulsion although I did not understand the reason for the referees’ decision,” said the Croatian coach.
