Stefano Pioli’s words on the eve of the euroderby

Stefano Pioli presented in a press conference the return leg of the Champions League semifinal derby, which sees Inter ahead 2-0 after the first leg. The Rossoneri coach, however, believes in the comeback: “The mood is that of a team that has a great chance. We are focused on overturning a prediction that sees us as underdogs. Having reached this point, we want the final, but we have to play a different game. It’s a matter of head and quality of play. We will win if we can play better than Inter, but we also have to be careful and not make mistakes.”

He then updated on Rafael Leao’s condition: “He is fine, he trained almost entirely with the group yesterday, I hope he can return with Krunic and Messias.”

The Diavolo coach dreams of entering the history of the Rossoneri club: “The Milanese have always made a difference. They have always been with us. Tonight we will be in Milanello, we all know the history of the club, we want to be part of it by writing important pages. We will play with emotion and passion.”
