These are the words of Novak Djokovic during the award ceremony at Roland Garros for the presentation of his third Musketeers’ Trophy of his career thanks to the final won in three sets over Casper Ruud, a triumph that earned him the solo record of 23 Grand Slam tournaments taken home.

“I am happy to share with you this very special day for me: there is a special atmosphere here and because Roland Garros has always been the most difficult tournament for me: it is not a coincidence that I achieved the record of 23 Slams here.
