Romelu Lukaku and Dusan Vlahovic, it’s not over
With one month to go before the (Italian, incoming) market closes, it is still unclear where Romelu Lukaku and Dusan Vlahovic will play next season.
The fate of the two strikers seems to be related, with Juventus still likely to target the former Inter player if the Serbian were to leave Turin, but it cannot be ruled out, however, that negotiations for both players will eventually end independently.
Cristiano Giuntoli meanwhile is planning a new trip to London to see if there is room to maneuver for the Belgian, who in the meantime was intercepted by a group of fans near Mama Adolphine’s home.
In the video posted by Mauro Chiffi, an Inter fan living in Brussels, on his Tik Tok profile, the Belgian striker to a precise question answered with a hand gesture and some unequivocal words: “The deal with Juve? I don’t think it will happen.”
The now former Inter player was also asked never to say “Forza Juve,” and the answer was a categorical “no, never.”
In recent days, former Inter president Massimo Moratti bluntly commented on the Lukaku situation: “Normal that Juve likes him. Damaging Inter is one of the goals of the Bianconeri, but the fans are angry with the player, it was his decision and it has upset the Interisti.”
“I did not expect a situation like this,” Moratti continued in an interview with Sportpaper. “Who would I like for the attack? No preference but it will depend on the will and needs of the coach and maybe he will choose a player useful to the maneuver. Difficult to find one with Lukaku’s characteristics.”
A thought on Mauro Icardi: “It’s been a while since I’ve seen the Argentine play, certainly the Icardi of the past I would see him well and I would have taken him.”
Onana’s farewell: “In today’s soccer unfortunately the economic side counts a lot, these are situations related more to the economic side than the technical side.”
